Jakob studied architecture at the University of Cambridge and the Glasgow School of Art.
In the past he worked as a technical designer and carpenter for a large green oak framing company based in Devon. Later on he worked on award-winning private dwellings at Kast Architects in Cornwall. As part of the 2018 Archifringe in Scotland, he collaborated with Missing in Architecture to design and manufacture an installation for the ‘Uncommon Lives’ exhibition which dealt with equality and inclusivity in the architectural design process.
