CHRISTIAN WALKER

director

Christian's formal training is primarily architectural, alongside product and graphic design, with over 10 years experience in the industry and an RIBA Masters in Architecture (Distinction). Christian has developed a specialism in residential timber architecture, having previously worked in a broad range of sectors including the delivery of multi-million pound commercial developments.

Simultaneously grounded in the traditions of the past and at the cutting edge of architectural practice, Christian aims to work as the original 'Architekton' or master-builder, drawing on Arts and Crafts influences and pioneering a new, multi-disciplinary form of architectural practice. A holistic approach to the way we design, make and experience spaces, from his research into diverse and sustainable uses of British forests and timber to proposals for architectural education, practice and review that are less dominated by the visual and promote a more inclusive multi-sensory experience.
